Meet Marcia

Writer, Speaker, Podcaster, Mug Model…

… Marcia Lane-McGee was born and raised in Chicago, IL. A woman with impeccable leadership skills, Marcia gets her brassy from the city and her bossy from being the eldest of four sisters and three brothers.

Putting those leadership skills and experience to good use; Marcia, a former parish youth minister, enjoys working with youth and encouraging them especially as she completes her Masters Degree while serving as a volunteer Campus Minister.

Never fear, adults! With her abundance of experience being a functional hot mess, masterful use of the “well, actually,” style, and everything being a enneagram 8 has to offer, Marcia is always happy to be invited to share her experience and expertise to aid in communication, outreach, and leadership for parish ministries and community organizations.

Putting her commitment to justice in the forefront of her work, Marcia serves on the boards of Catholics United for Black Lives and works as a prolife activist in an effort to consistently advocate for the needs of the vulnerable and marginalized in our world.

When she is not working, speaking, co-hosting of her favorite podcast, and being your big sister (whether you like it or not), Marcia is working to earn the title of “World's Best Aunt,” and uses her 11 and a half inch redwood wand with a dragon heartstring core to spread a little magic wherever it is needed.
